London Eater, 25 Jan '10: Charsiu Puffs, Yam Puffs, Shanghai Dumplings Xiao Long Baos good, Har Gaw and Siu Mai both are agreeable, Crystal Scallop and Prawn dumplings had rich seafood flavours and were brilliant, the slippery Pan-Fried Turnip Cakes were simply a joy to eat, Cheung Fun filled with Char Siu it was heavenly, the best Charsiu Cheung Fun in London, avoid Glutinous Rice with Chicken or ‘Lo mai gai’, Egg Custard was divine. Their Xiao Long Baos, Egg Tarts and Char Siu Cheung Fun in particular stack up very well against the competition in town;

World Foodie Guide, 14 May '09: Prawn Cheung Fun, Har Gaw delicious, Beef Tripe, Pan-Fried Turnip Cake – this was the absolute star of the meal, Chiu Chow Dumpling with Peanuts, Baked Char Siu Puffs, Shanghai Dumplings Xiao Long Bao were among the best I’ve had in a long while, whether in London, Hong Kong or Beijing (Taipei still ranks highest for me), Mini Egg Tarts;

The London Foodie, 2 Mar '10: Sesame Prawn Roll deliciously crispy, Char Siu Bun a first-rate version, Shanghai Dumplings were excellent and nearly as good as the ones from Leong’s Legend, Chiu Chow Dumpling among my favourites at Royal China and Yum Cha’s version was second to none, Scallop Dumpling had a delicate flavour, Beeftripe delicious and with a good texture, Fry Dough Cheung Fun since trying this type of Cheung Fun at Phoenix Palace, I became a real convert,  I loved the different textures and delicate flavours in this dish, Prawn Cheung Fun one of the best versions of this dish I have had, Pork & Prawn Dumpling (Shumai) meaty but soft and very delicious, Pan-Fried Turnip Cake these were also excellent, Mini Egg Tarts deliciously crumbly and sweet.
